Our client-company is looking for skilled and committed geoscientists (3 to 10 years of experience) for the Exploration & New Business Department in Western Europe.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team working with both national and international exploration projects. For geologists, a strong educational background, in areas of sedimentology, stratigraphy, structural geology, basin modelling or geochemistry is required. Experience with seismic interpretation will be an advantage. Candidates with a geophysical background should have experience with seismic interpretation, preferably in combination with an insight into rock physics.

You will be working in an international environment, so good verbal and written English skills are a prerequisite.

Requirements:
Used to work in an international environment. This means that the optimal candidate has either been working for one of the major oilproducing companies or has at least been outside his/her native country for 3 years (again working directly for an oil producing company) Good verbal and written English skills are a prerequisite as this will be the working language.

All candidates will in the process with Company be subject of a personal assessment and a logical assessment exactly the same way as we did with earlier candidates. There are no distinct personality types but there are some traits that Company generically needs these people to have. Company needs to find people that are used to a western european management style and people who are not afraid of speaking their mind and to come up with suggestions to improve procedures (without being rigid or stubborn).
