In a large international oil and gas company with headquarters in Moscow, Russia

A HSE Manager is required to be based in Nizhnevartovsk overseeing drilling and workovers at the wells throughout the company activities concentrating on Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards and regulations for these activities.

The candidate should be a Russian, fluent English, with western experience working either in a western oil and gas company or in a western service company. The candidate should have drilling and HSE experience. Salary is RUR 120-125,000/month gross + bonus (40% of salary). The age range is not deemed important by the client but 30-45 years of age was mentioned..

The client suggests that the candidate should be someone with an engineering background with no or little managerial experience but who has the potential to be promoted to a manager from a service company who has worked directional drilling etc. There will be 3 direct reports for this role but the plan is to grown this area - BU unit drilling and workovers from 3 to up to 10-15 people.
